Divinity Fits like a Glove

Godis Love

The cacophony of voices translates
most melodic to our King
Though we weave a diverse tapestry
yet a melody do we bring
He basks in our adoration
we soar beneath His Wings

No foreign dialect to barrier
the roar of effusive praises
No hindrance to translate
expression that only ever grazes
The sheer beauty of His countenance
or the fire as it blazes

In hearts whose songs are smiles
and a gentle squeeze of love
With familial affection he looks below
Wonder and longing, we gaze above
And in the dichotomy of our skins
Divinity fits like a glove

So don’t misjudge the hue
nor repudiate the expression
Let people dare to be different
as they pour out their affection
Rather, join the melee and
let your spirit soar in His direction

Cause no matter the culture
if it’s in honor and in love
In the dichotomy of our skins
Divinity fits like a glove

The Right Way to Worship?

At a church camp this summer, I noticed that other kids worship differently than I do.
