Choice to Change to New

The gift of inspiration is no small thing!

It’s so easy to get bogged down and discouraged- we hear, see and experience plenty negatives in this life to disbelieve anything can be different- or perhaps that we can make the difference?  Especially if we’re in a place where we feel trapped or disadvantaged.

While perusing social media this morning, I read so much that inspired it’s difficult to chose what to share- it does matter what and with whom we surround ourselves.  While the attached quote is obviously related to physical health and wellness, it encompasses so much more.

This is not an endorsement for the detox program attached to the quote- I neither advocate or participate at this time.  I assume at this point we all know sugar is not our friend.

I say that with utmost sadness.  (Pausing for a moment of silence)

I do strongly agree with the premise of the quote, however.  I hope it touches and inspires others as well.  It’s never too late to make a change or do the right thing- and I needed the reminder.

“Every day is a chance to make a new choice about how your life is or how it will be. You can either take steps to creating the life you want, you can change your mindset to love the life you have, or you can suffer where you are.  If you choose to suffer, don’t voice your suffering to others on a daily basis. No one worth having in your life wants to hear your complaints about how you don’t love your life, or how you wish things were different. EVERYONE worth having in your life wants to hear about what changes you’re making in the direction of your goals and dreams.  MAKE THE CHANGES. They don’t need to be big or fast, but progress is life. If you aren’t progressing, you are simply using up each day while you wait for your last breath. Life is far too precious to not live authentically and in the direction of your dreams. Today is the day to start on that path. There’s no need to wait until “someday.” Today is someday, and it’s as good a day as any.”  –Diane Sanfilippo: The 21-Day Sugar Detox

God bless your wild, crazy, unique adventure of a life.  I look forward to hearing each and every one blog all about it in the New Year.
