Bitter is not better
Broken is not to toss
When we turn to the One who loves us
Life can never be lost
Just as Jesus bore His, we all have crosses to bear in this life. God never told us to cling to a cross but to our Savior. He is our salvation and our source for all we’ll ever need, in this life and the eternity to come, because only in Him do we live and breathe and have our being.
Thank God He is not confined to brick and mortar! If we’ll draw close to Him, wherever we are in the moment- broken mentally, physically or spiritually- His Promise is to draw close to us as we draw close to Him. In His Kingdom, a Promise is a promise. He holds Himself accountable to do what He says He will do when we do what He says to do. Amazing Truth!
People can only know, help and be with us for a limited time. Our Sovereign is not constrained nor confined by time and space: by His beautiful Holy Spirit, He is with us every minute of every hour of every day– forever.
And if anyone knows you, He knows!
Receiving God and all the benefits that come through relationship is so simple even a child can understand- our God made it so. He is our Sovereign God and good Heavenly Father and there are no ‘favorites’ in His Kingdom, we’re all children invited to come at His own invitation.
Prayer is not formulaic as He listens to the heart- but if it is needed here is a simple prayer for healing, restoration and Relationship.
Sovereign Father God, you know everything about me- I confess it all. I know I’m a sinner according to Your Word- I turn away from sin and I turn to You, God. Forgive me my sins in Jesus name, please come into my heart and be my God forever. Amen.
If you prayed this prayer from your heart to your God, He heard. Welcome to the Family! You are now a child of the One True God and you are eternally secure in Him! It’s imperative for your Relationship with Him to read His love letter to you; His Holy Words, the Bible. The Holy Spirit came in at your genuine request and He alone is now your Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby). John 14:26 He can only tell you the truth and will lead you into all truth for your life, relationships, questions or concerns, as you seek Him. Prayer is merely a conversation with your Lord.
God bless you as you seek Him and grow in grace. I add my voice to that of the Apostle Paul, who prayed for all God’s people:
It is for this reason that I bow my knees before the Father, after whom all families in heaven above and on earth below receive their names, and pray:
Father, out of Your honorable and glorious riches, strengthen Your people. Fill their souls with the power of Your Spirit so that through faith the Anointed One will reside in their hearts. May love be the rich soil where their lives take root. May it be the bedrock where their lives are founded so that together with all of Your people they will have the power to understand that the love of the Anointed is infinitely long, wide, high, and deep, surpassing everything anyone previously experienced. God, may Your fullness flood through their entire beings.
Now to the God who can do so many awe-inspiring things, immeasurable things, things greater than we ever could ask or imagine through the power at work in us, to Him be all glory in the church and in Jesus the Anointed from this generation to the next, forever and ever. Amen.
