aren’t we merely a world of fools

courting the sun
For they triggered His wrath by setting up high places,
altars to strange gods in His land; they aroused His jealousy by bowing down to idols in the shadow of His presence…
They seem always to be learning, but they never seem to gain the full measure of the truth.
Because I am the Eternal One, I never change…
Some things just won’t let you go. Snippets of At This Moment have been playing on repeat in my subconscious for days.. finally listened today. Seems we swing far and wide on the spiritual pendulum sometimes; He’s either/or, a God of love or a God of wrath, little surmising the lengths our God will go or the depths of a love that will use every available means to bring us to a proper understanding of Himself. And perhaps a Covenant loyalty that goes far beyond our limited ability to comprehend.
Blessings on the journey,
“When the testings of the Millennial Kingdom are over, as mankind stands at the threshold of eternity, they will look back on the permission of evil and thank God for every tragedy and every sorrow. What an invaluable lesson! Compared to eternity, it will seem but a moment. And when “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death neither sorrow, nor crying” (Rev. 21:4)—then God too will have stopped crying.”
