Raging Grace

Inner rage bitters the sweetest day
Casts its pall in myriad ways
Shadows devour to the edge of light
’til even breathing becomes a blight

You’ll note it by its acrid odor
Taste it in its putrid ogre
Sow it in your weakest hour
Lie you in your bed deflowered

Not a shade to gild the face
Strips you bare in raging grace
Exposed and prone on a chantry chaise
Bound and gagged in religious lace

Furious umbrage repulses outrage
Dishonors the call and dissembles the presage
Mocking curvation on an actor’s stage
A broken shard that can only be swaged

Tip and drain to the very dredges
Shroud the Raiment and tiptoe ledges
Pretend the friend and resist the Hedges
Grieve the reverb and mourn the pledges

Divinity bends but can’t be broken
Ironclad pledge never a token
In silence He hears the rage unspoken
Emanates love to the sin verboten

You can’t take it and you can’t leave it
An astounding conundrum but if you’ll perceive it
He did it for you if you can dare to believe it
And if you’ll submit know you can receive it

Cause darl’in you know He just wouldn’t do it
No matter the torment nor how hard you chew it
A devilish lie but you know He slew it
Well in advance the day you blew it

His cross didn’t splinter but fused the divide
Why this running when there’s no need to hide
That shard was once the lance in His side
Iron-clad nails rings for His Bride

Rip off the veil and spill the heart-rage
Resist the shackles, walk outta His grave
Raged His Grace yet the guilt’s been assuaged
In excruciating love for a priceless wage

Cause while
Divinity condescends He can’t be broken
An ironclad pledge that was never mere token
Unburden rage, reverence the door open
In silence you’ll hear what He’s already spoken

“Come.” ~Sovereign

Come on now, let’s walk and talk; let’s work this out.
Your wrongdoings are bloodred,
But they can turn as white as snow.
Your sins are red like crimson,
But they can be made clean again like new wool.
Isaiah 1:18The Voice (VOICE)

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]
Matthew 11:28Amplified Bible (AMP)

The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, the true Christians) say, Come! And let him who is listening say, Come! And let everyone come who is thirsty [who is painfully conscious of his need of those things by which the soul is refreshed, supported, and strengthened]; and whoever [earnestly] desires to do it, let him come, take, appropriate, and drink the water of Life without cost.
Revelation 22:17Amplified Bible (AMP)

so that through faith the Anointed One will reside in their hearts. May love be the rich soil where their lives take root. May it be the bedrock where their lives are founded so that together with all of Your people they will have the power to understand that the love of the Anointed is infinitely long, wide, high, and deep, surpassing everything anyone previously experienced. God, may Your fullness flood through their entire beings.
Ephesians 3:17-19 VOICE
